Molly + Hunter 6.2.17
It all started on a blind date at Willie's Burgers, Molly and Hunter were both 16 years old when they were set up by friends, and they have been together ever since! Their high school sweetheart relationship grew and matured through out the years till one beautiful day in June when they both committed themselves to each other for a lifetime.
Molly and Hunter are true Sacramentens, they live life and celebrated their wedding in a Sacramento. They were wed in none other than the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Placed right in the heart of the city, the Cathedral's turn of the century construction has a commanding presence and an Italian Renaissance interior that made for a memorable ceremony.
The historic Firehouse Restaurant is where the party continued for the wedding party and guests. During cocktail hour, Molly and Hunter and us camera crew walked through Old Town and made our way to the Tower Bridge over the Sacramento River. Our timing could not have been better! A massive horn went off, the traffic stopped and the bridge's vertical lifts rose as a large ship was traveling down river. With no traffic or interruptions, we were able to capture such gorgeous views of Molly and Hunter embracing and just having fun running along the bridge. Such joy and love shines through them both and it was so special to capture this eventful day.
Back at the Firehouse, we were treated to a live band and singer/band leader Peter Petty. Everyone was dancing and enjoying their time together, it was such a fun wedding! For the mother and son dance, Hunter and his mom performed the "Queca" which is the Chilean national dance paired with the traditional garb of a poncho, huaso hat, spurs, and waiving handkerchiefs.
The love and care for this wedding was tremendous. I'm so blessed to be part of the whole day! Molly and Hunter you had a spectacular wedding and an awesome party! Such a great way to send you off to honeymoon in Greece and back home as a married couple. So happy for you both!
