Desiree + Nick 4.15.17

Congratulations to Desiree and Nick on their wedding at the Miner's Foundry in Nevada City! So much love and excitement  surrounded the happy couple on their big day, Jade and I so enjoyed being with their family & friends and watching how much love and attention they put forth to celebrate Desiree and Nick.

The first moment Desiree laid eyes on Nick, she was for sure smitten. He was referred to as "Costco Guy", as Desiree spotted Nick working at Costco while he managed shoppers during the inevitable traffic jam of carts. I'm so happy that "Costco Guy" became Nick and soon they became "Nick & Desiree". They are an adorable couple that light up each others faces, and they are encouraged and loved on by so many.

The Miners Foundry was built in 1855 during the gold rush and houses such rich history for the gold rush era and Nevada City. Desiree and Nick included many of their family's antiques to decorate the venue and it seemed to tie together the past to their future. We even recreated a pose with Nick and his brother (best man & twin) from an old back & white print of their dad and uncle as young men. 

Congratulations again to you Desiree and Nick! Jade and I feel so blessed to be a part of your wedding day and to capture these beautiful moments for you and your loved ones!
